Under Armour

Under Armour, abbreviated as UA, is a new company built in recent years comparing with Nike and Adidas. This new brand has attracted a lot of consumers because its sportswear is good to wear and good-looking. Under Armour has signed a contract with the NBA MVP Stephen Curry and made many profits by selling Curry’s shoes. Although the products of UA are sure very good-looking and functional, the price is not affordable for most teenagers. The price of UA shoes is usually higher than 3500$, which always make people hesitate before buying them.

Under Armour was founded at 1996 by the captain of an America college football team. He wanted to design a sportswear that is more suitable for an athlete, therefore he set up his own company and registered UA as his brand. This brand is now popular all over the world. It even beat Adidas at 2014, becoming the second biggest sports brand in America.

The logo of UA consists of the letter “U” on top of the letter “A,” it is now one of the most famous brands in clothing industry. The white color represents the charm and elegance of UA while the black color represents its courage and prestige.

Nowadays, people wear Adidas’s products not only for sports purposes, but also wearing for fashion. The jerseys now people like to wear on streets are mostly produced by Adidas. There are even some girls buy them just only for looking fashion. Adidas’s jacket is also a popular product among teenagers. I am a fan of Adidas’s jacket and I have a collection of different kinds of Adidas jacket. I wear them not only because it is functional, but also easy to collocate other clothes.

Adidas Superstar

Adidas Superstar was first designed at 1969. Its initially designed as basketball shoes, nothing to do with fashion. However, after years of improving and developing, it is now very common all over the world. It has a nickname called “shell shoes” because the front part of the shoes is covered with a hard material that looks like a shell. Just like Nike’s Air Force 1, people believe that it is suitable on different outfits.

The Great Success of Adidas

    The founder of Adidas, Adolf Dassler, was not only a person who makes shoes but also a sportsman. He knew what an athlete needs and with his great skills on making shoes, he made a lot of fantastic equipment that are related to sports. Because of his effort, Adidas have kept on making progress and now become a competitive sportswear company in the world.

    

    There is also an interesting story that the founder of Puma was actually Adolf Dassler’s old brother. They used to design shoes together before, but they decided to split up and create their own brands. Adidas and Puma have been great competitors for a long time, but apparently Adidas is the winner at present.

    Adidas’s equipment is very popular in every kinds of sports, especially in soccer. Because Adidas is a Europe brand and as everyone knows lot that the people in Europe enjoys soccer a lot, Adidas made a lot sponsors on the soccer games and players.

    The success of Adidas hasn’t stopped yet. They are still moving on and trying their best to make new achievements.
